I'm Mike Dempsey, along with Football Guys' own Bob Harris. Bob, let's jump right into it, a contract given out by the Pittsburgh Steelers yesterday that Jalen Warren, a couple of years added on, a couple of your extension there.

I feel like Warren's been an underdrafted player, but from your perspective, do you read this

as bad news for Caleb Johnson in redraft leagues?

Well, it ain't good news, right?

I guess it depends on your expectations.

If we're being realistic, we knew this was going to be a split.

Caleb Johnson has

been going around earlier than Jalen Warren, round seven and round eight is when they've been

drafted. But if you look back over time, Naji Harris was the lead back in Pittsburgh over

Warren's first three seasons. As a rookie, he played 31% of the snaps, but the next two years,

he had Harris split more evenly. Warren got 49% and 45% of the snaps. but the next two years he had Harris split more evenly. Warren got

49% and 45% of the snaps. I don't see a seismic shift coming. If anything, Warren might start

a little faster as Johnson gets up to speed in terms of path protection and understanding the nuances

of pro game. So I think this might be a little bit of a ramp up for Caleb Johnson and Jaylen

Warren might have a chance to establish himself

as more of an every downback than we expect. If you can only have one in a fantasy league,

does it matter what style of league it is, PPR, half PPR, non-PPR? No, not for me. Not for

this year. Like Dynasty, I still think I'd be fine with with Caleb Johnson and I do have

expectations over time, maybe even this year. But I think it's going to be a little bit of a ramp up.

All right. Let's head to South Florida where Devon A. Chan and Tyreek Hill returned to practice

somewhat, Bob, reportedly worked on the side. Are you confident that even if they play, it seems

like they're on track to play, are they going to get their normal workloads in week one? I would not be confident in that. This is A. Chan's first work since the middle of August. They started hitting, they started sitting Hill the first week of August. So as I explained in yesterday's episode, I'd love to see some full sessions, especially for A. Chan. I'd also love to see them both avoid questionable designations. I don't know that neither of those wishes will come true. So assuming he's ready to go, you're almost certainly playing A Chan as the running back one you draft him to be. You might have more options with Hill. Most of us are drafting more depth at wideout than a running back, but whether we play either with confidence is going to be
