And Bob, we finally have depth charts that supposedly means something as we're just days away from the season starting.

So let's jump in with depth chart fun here

in Washington. The commanders list Austin Eckler as the RB1. That's fine. What about Bill

Kroski Merritt being the RB4 bomb? Chris Rodriguez. The RB3 Jeremy McNichols gets the backup spot,

at least on this.

What do you make of this?

Most likely shenanigans, but we'll see.

Here's a thing.

Teams are required to release depth charts.

But whether they call them official, unofficial, or nothing at all, they are generally a creation

of the team's media relations department, and the degree to which they are tethered to the

actual pecking order laid out by coaches is best taken on a case-by-case basis. So we'll find out. We'll start hearing some reporting on how things go in the portions of practice open to the media the rest of this week. But you know, Mike, that's a narrow relatively small window. It might not give us a true representation. We'll almost certainly hear from the group of national NFL insiders with but at least part of that information shared by agents with them. But it won't be until the commanders released their inactive in the 90 minutes up to Sunday's early afternoon kickoff against the Giants that we'll know for sure. So in the past, Washington's had three running backs on their game day roster, if you're asking me right now, Echler, Walremontu scored double-digit PPR points in 8 of 12 appearances last year. It's the only one I'd be comfortable playing this week. I have high hopes for Crosky Merritt, but as of now, they're just that, hopes. Yeah, commanders, by the way, opening with the Giants. Giants did release their depth chart. Jackson Dart is officially the backup. All right,

we kind of expect that would be the case. We'll keep an eye on that, see if you can

overtake Russell Wilson at some point this year. The Chargers and Chiefs will play in Brazil

on Friday night, Bob Harris. And according to the athletics, Daniel Popper, he believes that

Omerian Hampton has workhorse potential. I've seen Hampton go as high as the two, three Popper. He believes that O'Marion Hampton has workhorse potential. I've seen

Hampton go as high as the two, three turn now in a 12 team league. Is he worth that pick in a league

that size? He probably is worth that pick. Popper believes the role would be sufficient for Hampton
