Back when I was in school, I played in a really cool modern jazz no net that was basically

just the horns, it was like a jazz rhythm section with enough horns to make

it nine players and I remember once when I was in high school playing a piece that was

written for a saxophone octet which was kind of two saxophone quartets if I recall correctly, but the piece was actually arranged for all the saxophones, which was pretty cool.

Also when I was in music school I played in a fantastic saxophone quartet, which usually a Barry, Alto, Tener, and soprano saxophone.
