Hi, friends. Thanks for joining me on a 10-minute walk today. Welcome to Walking is Fitness. This is a podcast of action. As we walk together for 10 minutes, holding each other accountable for creating and maintaining a lifestyle of fitness.

I did something this morning just a moment ago that I think it's the first time I've done

since I started doing this.

Walked out my front door and got maybe, oh, 30 steps away and decided, I am underdressed.

My ears are not going to be happy if I don't turn around and go get my hat.

So I did that.

And now I'm comfortable and ready to go and really looking forward to today's walk.

Today is actually going to be a really busy day for me.

And, you know, the definition of busy has, for me, has changed over the years, as I guess it does for all of us.

You know, there was a long, long season of life when busy involved a house full of children.

Even I have six kids and we homeschooled them.

Actually, they were home three days a week, and the other two days they were in a school

for homeschooled kids, which I know sounds a little crazy, but it actually was a school that my wife started with a friend,

and she was the administrator for about 15 years and had up to 100, I think, our biggest year, 170 students.

So anyhow, our kids were in school two days a week and home three

days a week. So busy during that season of life looked completely different than it does now.

It would get up really early in the morning, because I did morning radio, would drive to work, do the morning show.

And then I had other responsibilities, so I would be at the radio station for a while, take care of that, drive home.

In traffic, the drive into work, not a whole lot of traffic at four in the morning to drive home

a little different and then you know a house full of children and i had some responsibilities

in you know teaching them in the home school thing.
