Hey, what's going on? Alex here. I brought you up to a cemetery to talk to you about your identity in Christ, because when you are most joyful, when you're least stressed, when you have the most purpose, the most energy, it's when you're walking in that identity. I mean, you have that identity with you all the time, but when you're walking in the realization of that identity, you know that you know that you know this is what you're supposed to be doing and you're in God's will, that's when you're most joyful. That's when you feel most alive.

And I can speak for myself, that's how I feel when I'm really enjoying fatherhood, when I'm really enjoying these videos,

when I'm really enjoying pastoring at our house church in our garage, that's when I have the most energy. The other day I woke up

like at 1.30 in the morning on Sunday morning and it was just hours and hours before church

and I just had so much energy and passion and just I did the dishes and there was a lot of them.

And I did, I cooked some food for the day and I got my sermon done and I worked out. I did all this stuff, even before sunrise.

Where did this energy come from?

I didn't know at the time, but as I started to think about it,

on my run, standing here in the cemetery,

I thought it's because I was really knowing and walking in God's will for my life.

I was being who he made me to be and who he intended to

intended me to be from the beginning. On Halloween night, me and my kids don't really celebrate

Halloween the way that everybody else does. My wife and I just have like games and fun food and

stuff that we do with them. But we ended the night talking about zombies. And my wife was kind of looking at me like, why are you talking about

this? It's kind of like kind of scare them.

But I had a plan. My plan was to bring

them to Ephesians chapter 2, where it

says that we were dead in our trespasses and sin

in which we once walked

following Satan,

the prince and the power

of this world. What's going on there? We were following an evil being.
