Family, I'm grateful for this opportunity to be in this with you, to be together with you.

For the last year or so, as I would sit in a worship service just like this,

there was a refrain that would wash over my heart, a book out of the Scriptures,

a particular verse that would just land on me.

And it would just sit there, and I would just sit there and I would think as I was

worshiping and singing and praying my way through the service much like we're doing today

I would wonder Lord is that is that something you want me to preach or is that just something

that you're caring for me with right here?

And it just kept happening, and it was just quietly happening in my heart.

I shared it with nobody, and I just felt loved, felt cared for by this scripture and by this word.

And I was at an encounter, and I was right up here, and a friend came over over and he said, I think you have a word for the church.

And I said, tonight?

And he said, I don't know.

Ask.

And so I asked the Lord, Lord, do I have a word for the church?

And is it tonight?

And that same scripture popped into my heart.

But it wasn't for that night.
