Sometimes you're going to find that, you know, things are just simply not working out.

You know, no matter how hard you're trying, the energy you're putting in motion, you know,

you're trying to do the best you can.

The energy may not be there.

Every day you wake up with the hope that, you know, today is going to be different.

Today I'm going to make a change.

And then you fall into the same patterns, fall into the same habitual patterns that have

been wreaking havoc on your life for some time.

And this can go on for a little while.

It could be a week, two weeks, three weeks, three months, six months.

It could be a while.

Sometimes we're in a season where we are just completely waiting, you know, as if we're

in a waiting room.

I'm sure we've all been in a waiting room before, you know, as if it's been in a doctor's office

or a dentist's office or maybe, you know, on the phone with your phone company,

with the outrageous build, the added build that they've been overcharging us with,

and they put you on hold.

What do they do when they put you on hold?

They leave what we can call elevator music on, keeping you occupied until they're ready to answer

our call.

I think sometimes that's what's happening in our lives.

We're in a season where we're in a waiting room.
