When you talk Royal Caribbean Cruise ships, there's so many different ships in the fleet, so many

classes of ships, but the Freedom and Voyager-class ships, to me, stand out as quintessential, classic Royal Caribbean ships that have come to define, really, the current generation of cruise ships on Royal Caribbean.

And this week we're going to be talking about the Freedom and Voyager-class ships, because they're so similar and yet different in their own respects.

But these ships were at the heart of what we currently

see, this new evolution, if you will, of cruise ship design. Because prior to the Voyager and

Freedom Class ships, you had, you know, Vision class ships and sovereign class ships and an

Empress of the Seas. And, you know, ships that were a lot obviously smaller, but also

they incorporated different design elements. And the Voyager class ships introduced things like the Royal Promenade.

And now when you talk about a Royal Caribbean ship, I think it's hard not to imagine a Royal Promenade or other amenities like rock climbing walls.

These were things that came in with the Voyager class.

And certainly they gave way to the Freedom Class and to the Oasis class.

And to some extent, the quantum class, but the quantum classes, we'll get to that in another

But, you know, really, this was the genesis, if you will, of our current lineage of Royal Caribbean
