Summary
With the New Year right around the corner, it makes sense to take some time this week and wish for the sort of changes to Royal Caribbean we want to see in the coming year. From policy changes, to new ideas, or just self-serving improvements, this week we are sharing what kind of changes we would hope to see in 2018.

| 0:38.2 | to see and hope to see in 2018. Here we go. With New Year's Eve just days away, a lot of people |
| 0:48.4 | start dreaming of what they want to do differently in the New Year. A New Year represents a fresh |
| 0:51.9 | start, and that notion isn't limited to just what people want to do. Every year, Royal Caribbean rolls out new initiatives, on board policies, deployments, and packages that seem to, in some way, improve the guest experience and or enhance it. And being the geeky cruise fans that we are, I couldn't help, but also come up with a list of new changes to 2018 that I'm hopingribbon will adopt in the new year. And this week, let's wish together for what kind of changes, additions, and far-out ideas we would want to see happen if we had a control of Royal Caribbean. And to help me come up with some of these wishes, I sought out a great thinker. Someone with the kind of ideas that would get everyone thinking about the possibilities, I'd like to introduce you to the robot behind the machine, a brilliant inventor and scientific genius, Billy Hirsch of Cruzehabit.com. Welcome, Billy. Thank you. I was fully expecting you to say that that person you invited was not able to attend, and I'm here in his absence. But thank you for the warm welcome. Well, that was a wonderful Muppet Vision reference, a Disney World reference. Did you get my reference? Yeah, no. Timekeeper! Say that again? The Timekeeper. Oh, wow. Throw up behind the machine, a brilliant vendor in Ivy Jesus, and then in the scene, it would then cut to Robin Williams screaming and a lot of smoke, and then they come back to Nigh-N-E-N-E. Yeah. And they're like, oh. That goes way back. Wow, that was good. I feel very bad for having missed that now. Well, it's all right. There's only about four people that'll get that. Everyone else is like, what podcast I'm also saying to again? Did I get this one right? Anyway. And one of those four is Marissa, who we know does not listen. |
| 2:01.9 | Does not listen to this. everyone else is like, what podcasts I'm I'm also saying to again? Did I get this one right? Anyway. |
| 2:15.7 | And one of those four is Marissa, who we know does not listen. Does not listen to this. No, that's those three. We're down to three. Actually, I brought Billy on this week because we actually did this same topic last year. And I thought this is a fun topic to do. Why not do it again this year? And before we get into some more ideas for this year, |
| 2:53.0 | we actually are going to look back on what we suggested for last year that Relicraming should do. I don't know that any of them actually made. Well, maybe one of them made it. I don't know, but we weren't very successful in our wishes, or our wishing didn't go very far, as it were. So let's start, why should you take us, Billy, through the list of what we did last year, |
| 2:55.9 | just for posterity, so we can at least see how we did. |
| 2:59.9 | So we don't write these things down. |
| 3:03.9 | I actually listen to the episode and realized how bad my voice is right now, so I apologize for all those listening. |
| 3:04.8 | But number one, I went first, and I wanted to sail your way packages where you could just better customization of your cruise experience. |
| 3:14.6 | You know, table selection, main dining room, particular drinks that you like to have, things like that. |
| 3:19.4 | You want me to go through all six of them real quick? |
| 3:21.2 | Yeah, go ahead. |
| 3:22.5 | All right. |
| 3:23.1 | Next, Matt, you wanted Waffle House. |
| 3:26.6 | And despite wanting that, we're still friends. |
