Summary
The first ITT in Volta a Catalunya in about 25 years, inserted before the two nasty mountain stages presumably to ensure there would be GC time gaps thus incentivising early attacks. Well the organisers got their wish, with a mixed bag from the GC riders and some big surprise performances. Benji and Lanterne discuss the revised GC situation, the stage winner, is the aero base layer back and how tomorrow will play out.
