These aren't the stories your mother told you.

No, these are the other stories.

We all wear them. We stick them to our faces when we want to appear to be more or different than what we truly are.

Sometimes we wear the mask of the comedian to make people laugh at a party, or sometimes we wear the mask of the brave hero when facing illness or challenge.

Mostly though, we wear the mask of the content when really we are anything

but. But what about everyone else? Ever notice a person's smile disappear for a moment only to

return when they see you are looking? Or perhaps their eyes glaze or twitch as some unseen machinery

beneath works loose? What about the person who smiles too much? You know the creepy kind.

The ones who hold your hand for a little bit too long make you feel good about yourself, but

are they wearing a mask? Well, volume 47 of the other stories is going to be going deep into this

very, very important topic of masks to be peeling back a few to see what truly hides beneath. We have

stories about motivational speakers and dark spirits and camp mascots and the mask of reality itself.

Stories from returning writers, Michael David Wilson, Kev Harrison, Dan Howef and John Crinnon, along with

a couple of new names, not new names like they just got them, but new names to our show, Hannah Mariska and Richard Reynolds.

Also, our regular team of narrators has been massaging their throats, doing some tonsil yoga,

preparing themselves for the last theme of the year, Persephone Rose, Alexander Elroy, Grant Patriccio,

and Josh Curran all gargling their fair share of vocal ointment for the stories ahead.
