Today's guest Vincent Fuller never thought he'd play pro football forever.

No one does that.

An athlete, even the best athlete, gets older and slower.

And Vincent was good, like better than everyone from his high school and his college,

but he never thought he was the very best.

His first year, he played with a guy who was the number one draft pick.

I saw his 10-level in comparison to mine and I said, okay, I'm nowhere close.

So even if I get the opportunity to play on professional level, it won't be forever.

That was 2006.

Vincent played with the Tennessee Titans for five years.

It was a dream come true, but that's not what this episode is about.

In his mid-20s, Vincent had to figure out a next act,

a new field that would give him purpose and income.
