Hello, my friends and welcome back to the morning mindset.

I hope you are ready to get your minds aligned with the truth of God today.

I wanted to remind you about our nonprofit organization, not a needy person.

This is a nonprofit, unlike any that I've heard of before, because we've based it on

Acts 4, where the people in the early church were voluntarily giving of their resources

to help meet the needs of others.

And it says, in so doing, there was not a needy person among them.

And so that's why we've called our nonprofit not a needy person.

It's our desire to follow that same pattern and to have that same heart, believers, helping

believers get their needs met in the name of the Lord Jesus.

I recorded a bonus episode this past Monday that I would encourage you to go back and find

so you can hear the thanks and the situations that have been met through not a needy person.

Okay, as we dive back in to Proverbs chapter 4, verses 10 through 27 is where we will

be placing our attention today.

The writer says, my son, my daughter, be attentive to my words, incline your ear to my sayings.

Let them not escape from your sight, keep them within your heart, for they are life to

those who find them, in healing to all their flesh.

Keep your heart with all vigilance, for from it flowed the springs of life.

Put away from you, crooked speech, and put devious talk far from you.
