Hello there, thank you so much for joining me on the morning mindset, Kerry Greene here,

time for you and me to get our minds aligned with the truth of God.

We're doing that by going right now through the book of Proverbs and we've made it to

Proverbs chapter 5.

Now Proverbs chapter 5 is very interesting.

It is a chapter that is devoted to solely one subject and the writer is going to discuss

this subject in a variety of different ways but one of the main ways he's going to do

it is by focusing in on a specific person.

A specific person and that person is a personified temptation or lust that we experience in life

and it is focusing in on sexual temptation.

Now the morning mindset is a family friendly show so I'm going to try to keep it g-rated

here but what we need to understand is that sexual temptations are a very real thing for

all of us male, female doesn't matter and sexual temptation is a temptation towards satisfying

a very good, very God-given need and desire.

In ways that God has not said our healthy or good for us and so as we hear the words

of Solomon here in Proverbs chapter 5, keep that in mind, God is trying to direct us

down the healthy path, the path of prosperity and the path of blessing.

Let's read.

He says, my son, be attentive to my wisdom and incline your ear to my understanding that

you may keep discretion and your lips may guard knowledge.

For the lips of a forbidden woman, drip honey and her speech is smoother than oil.

But in the end she is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a two-edged sword.
