I appreciate you Brian joining us this Sunday afternoon.

We are going to walk through Romans chapter 8 and you may be asking how do you come up with what you're going to walk through next

and it is completely

and utterly random. It is not predestined whatsoever.

Predetermined. No, you know, obviously we have passages that are very popular passages with regard to the

sociological debate.

And so that's one of the reasons we chose Romans 1 and, excuse me, Ephesians 1 and 2 to go through the last time. And that wasn't something that we just decided to do, you know,

like we were going to continue to do these series or anything like that. We just, hey, let's do

this for Ephesians 1 and we liked it. And people seem to enjoy it so and we've done that for john six before

that and so it's kind of become a something we've just decided to do because we enjoy getting together

and talking through scripture i learned a lot hanging out with brian Brian and he puts up with me.

So that's that's a good thing.

And when I and when I don't want to use my Greek tools like I learned in seminary to do,

I can always just ask Brian to do it for me.

And so, you know, if you got a great- you've been taking the course from me. I mean, you'd be using them all the time. I should have, I guess. Well, you know, I should keep, when you go do youth ministry, you do youth work for so long, you don't really have to have your Greek tools all that often. And so I a good 13 14 years without using my Greek tools on a regular basis they use them occasionally when I

speak but but now that I've gotten back into apologetics and doing this kind of work I've gone back to

using them a lot more often and and I really miss it you know you start missing a skill set that you used to have that you don't

have as well anymore and Pritchett gets on to me he says he says I need to take one of his

one of the courses there at Trinity on on Greek again so I can get my game back up again on

the Greek and I said oh man yeah I'm spare time. I guess now I do have maybe

a little bit more spare time than others with quarantine stuff going on. Well, let me just say
