Venezuela. Nicholas Maduro is the illegitimate president of Venezuela after the July

2024 election was very clearly demonstrated to be fraudulent. However, I go to Mary's most

recent column about Venezuela and read a quote from the new senator from Ohio, Bernie Moreno.

He says, Trump will work with Maduro because that's who will be taking office.

The new senator goes on to say, it is not the United States that chooses who the leaders of these countries are.

They had an election that people say was not fair, but at the end of the day,

the interests of the United States are to stop drug trafficking

and to welcome back all the illegal Venezuelans who are in this country

to do business with the United States and stop doing business with Russia and China.

What does this look like, Senator Moreno?

Is this a remark that was sympathetic to Mr.

Trump's position or consulting with Mr.

Trump's position?

so are a lot of other people. Bernie Moreno, who used to be a car salesman in Ohio,

was backed by President Trump in the primary, the Republican primary, so he's one of Trump's favorites.
