| 0:00.0 | Here, Bertia. |
| 0:01.4 | Now, at the base of it, I'm just curious really means I'm just nosy. Yes. Oh, really. Yeah, definitely. Because it's none of your business. And you know it's not of your business, but you just got to know the answer. Remember that one when we talked to who had a neighbor, had somebody come visit her all the time every day. And she had some, like, you know, some dramatic soap opera story made up in her mind. but then we found out the truth, it was like so basic and boring. |
| 0:24.4 | It was our husband. She had some, like, you know, some dramatic soap opera story made up in her mind. |
| 0:21.0 | But then when we found out the truth, it was, like, so basic and boring. It was her husband coming home to have lunch or something, wasn't it? I thought it was her brother. Her brother. Somebody came over to have lunch every day, but not in this. It started with, I'm pretty sure my neighbor's having an affair. Yeah. And the reality is never as good as the fantasy you have in your head. |
| 0:37.3 | We had the one listener on that was calling out a coworker, right? Because she said she had to leave all the time. She couldn't pick up shifts. And she wanted to know why this coworker was so stressed out. I can't even remember what the result was. It was because she wrecked her car and the deductible was, or her brother's car, and she wanted to pay him back or something for the deductible. |
| 0:57.1 | She was picking up more shifts. Oh, and then the other co-worker who, his stuff was always in his car, so the coworker thought he was homeless and come to find out, he had teenage daughters at home and could never get in the bathroom, so he was getting ready at the gym. Yeah, that's right. So if you got one of these going on in your life right now, just email us. And what we do is we'll talk to you during the show and then we'll have producer Tracy do all the research after the show. Then you come back on and we tell you the results. And for Julia here, it's all about one of her neighbors hey Julia hey how are you good how are you |
| 1:28.5 | good good but curious okay okay so this is this a next door neighbor is this a neighborhood over |
| 1:34.2 | from you yeah this is it's down the street because I mean I know the people who live right next to |
| 1:39.7 | me but um this guy or people they're down the street a while but I I pass the house all the time, like coming and going from my house. |
| 1:47.0 | Okay. |
| 1:47.7 | Can we say what area of town this is in? |
| 1:50.5 | I'll tell you that. |
| 1:51.5 | It's Woodstock. |
| 1:52.5 | Okay. |
| 1:53.1 | All right, so in Woodstock. |
| 1:54.2 | Okay. |
| 1:55.0 | So is this a house that is traditionally decorated every year with Christmas stuff? |
| 2:00.3 | Yeah, but this year, I mean, they went all out. |
| 2:04.3 | I mean, their stuff was up like two weeks ago, like right at Thanksgiving. |
| 2:08.5 | And I mean, a wreath in every window, all the inflatables, they had even those little candle |
| 2:14.1 | things, it was all decked out. |
| 2:16.2 | But it actually looked nice. Like it wasn't like way, way over the top. But it looked really pretty. And then I noticed a couple days ago, it's just all gone. What do you mean gone? It's gone, like, all the thing, the big, you know, Santa thing, the inflatable thing, everything. It's just gone. All the decorations, the reaps off the door, they're off all the windows, everything. And the weirdest thing that's really kind of creeping me out is there's a Christmas tree, like a live Christmas tree, but it's like up against the side of the house. And it looks like, like after Christmas you, like after New Year's when everybody has their old Christmas tree outside. That's what it looks like. Do you think that they were forced out of the house quickly? I keep thinking that it could be something crazy like that. And that's just bad. Like, in my mind, you keep making up all these stories. And, like, who knows? Maybe they're in trouble with the law. |
