Yes, Thursday. Thursday of last week around 6.15, we take a call from a woman that we're calling Kelly that was going to another city to visit a guy that she met online.

And a whole bunch of virtual listeners called up concern,

because we really didn't feel like she left herself a lot of safety net.

Like she didn't tell a lot of people she was taken off.

Right.

We only had one phone number for her, and we were really concerned that she was going to his city.

And Kelly was a little bit more vulnerable than the average online dater because she had just recently lost her husband about eight months ago.

And so therefore wasn't really telling anybody any of her close friends and family that she was going to meet this person because she thought that they would judge her for moving on too quickly.

So for four or five days now, we've been calling trying to get her on the phone and we were just a little nervous about her safety. And we were talking about it this morning and now she's on the phone. Hi, Kelly. Hi. Where have you been, young lady? I've been gone. Absolutely no cell phone service whatsoever up there.

Oh, that's comforting. Yes. That's very comforting. That's a good thing we know that now.

Yeah, definitely. So he took you into like some small, itty-bitty little town in the middle of whatever state?

Yeah, basically. And what happened? How did it go?

Actually, the weekend wasn't that bad. He was nice and everything went fine it just wasn't exactly what i expected and i wasn't really ready for it so i was glad to come home what did

you expect and then what was it like how did it not meet your expectations um i do think it was just

still a little too soon and um, um, honestly, after talking

with y'all on Thursday, I was nervous the whole weekend. So I never exactly let my guard down.

Well, I kind of think that's a good thing. Yeah. I think it was. I don't feel bad about that.

I gotta be honest. Was he expecting more from you, like more of a relationship? I think so. So you were going there more as a friendship and he was going there thinking it was going to be something a little more? Yes. Yeah. Well, I was sorry it didn't work out, but I mean... I'm glad you're okay. Yeah, we're glad you're back safely. Don't you ever leave again without giving us a phone call, young lady. Okay us worried sick all night we're not mad we're just disappointed it's good to know you're okay

yes i am so what's your next step with this guy is the relationship over at this point or

i mean what have you learned about yourself and the grieving process now also um Well, I've definitely learned that, well, like I said, it's definitely too soon.

And I think it was just, I think it was more fun talking and thinking of the idea of doing it than it actually was doing it.
