And a little Lakers news in the dead of the summer, but not the kind that we want to hear.

Mike Bresnahan on the Lake Show podcast reported that Vando may not be ready for training camp or the

preseason D. And so we just talked fairly recently about he's an important guy if the

Lakers want to get to where they want to go. And an injury early on are missing camp and all

that doesn't, you know, mean that he's not going to help at all this season, but it's

certainly some bad news, especially with a new coach trying to integrate into new ideas, new

systems and all of that. And so he went from being, you know, available in game five or whatever,

game four of the playoffs to possibly not being available. This is something, you know, I have been bothered by for

a while about the Lakers' reporting of injuries and how they message that. And yeah, so he also said

that Vando did not have surgery. I had heard that he had, but Bres would know better than I would.
