Hi, it's Elise Lunan, host of Pulling the Thread. On this show, we pull apart the web in which we all live to understand who we are and why we're here. My hope is that these conversations spark moments of resonance and plant tiny seeds of awareness so that we might all collectively learn and grow.

I just got back late last night from Chicago for a work event that I did at this lovely women's co-working space called Alter.

This was a great trip because it was one of the rare opportunities I had to bring one of my kids.

My oldest came with me, not to the event.

My kids have really no interest in my work, which, you know, I got a respect at this point.

They're little.

But my oldest best friend moved to Chicago during COVID.

And so they had this incredible reunion, suburban, idyllic weekend together,

which was so fun and lovely.

And then I ducked out to go and do an event for choosing wholeness over goodness at Alter.
