Hello, creatives. I'm Joanna Penn. And this is episode number 656 of the podcast and it is Tuesday the 15th of November

2022 as I record this. In today's show, Jay Thorne and I discuss using generative AI tools

for music and visual art and images and our latest thoughts on Web3 and NFTs. So I've been doing shows on NFTs for almost two years now,

When I outlined all the different ways authors will be able to use NFTs for creativity,

collaboration, community and cash. Plus, I have interviews on legalities and copyright and the financial side and lots of things

special episodes. So there has indeed

been a lot of mayhem in the crypto world, even in the last week, but Jay and I remain convinced

of the utility of original digital assets and collectibles on blockchain. And you need to separate

the financial side, really really from the utility side.

But it's early days and it's a little like 1997 before the internet.com crash or 2007 in

the early days of mobile. And we can see a glimpse of the future but we don't know how it's

going to shape out yet.

So we are experimenting.
