Hi, I'm Dave. I started walking for fitness in 2013. Still take an intentional fitness walk every single day. I'm walking right now and I would love to have you join me for the next 10 minutes. Today is one of those episodes that is sort of an indoors episode and I'll explain why in just a moment but to paint the picture I'm

actually walking in my garage I've got the door to the garage open so you can hear what's

happening outside it's a little breezy today so you might even hear the wind chimes that we have

on our front porch from time to time.

Got an email recently from Shirley. She listens in Malaysia and she said that she began walking for fitness during the pandemic

while restrictions were in place.

She started walking inside the length of her living room and dining room.

As her fitness capacity grew, she expanded to two episodes.

Eventually three episodes, she was able to walk outside, and she wanted to let me know that

she has graduated to longer podcasts because her walks are longer now.

But still listens to walking his fitness when she takes a 10-minute walk.

A couple of things about Shirley's email that I want to shine a spotlight on.

And one is sometimes you don't have a whole lot of options. You don't have a

whole lot of places where you can walk. Sometimes all you've got is the inside of your house. In Shirley's

case, the length of her living room and dining room. And in my case today, as an example, my garage. Is this the most enjoyable place to walk?

Not really. But sometimes, because of circumstances, it might be weather, might be a pandemic with
