Summary

In this solo episode, Dr. G delves deep into a topic that's been quietly shaping our health and well-being: the vital role of salt in our hydration and overall health. Join us as we unravel the often-overlooked importance of salt, a mineral that's been misunderstood for far too long. We're tackling the myth that all salt is bad. Discover how the right kind of salt intake is crucial for your body, and why it's about much more than just seasoning your food. Did you know that up to 75% of Americans are dehydrated? It's a shocking statistic that many of us aren't aware of. This episode sheds light on the subtle and not-so-subtle signs of dehydration, from frequent headaches and dry skin to more serious issues like memory problems and weakened immunity. Also, there's a buzz going around about adding salt to water for better hydration. We see it all over social media, with many swearing by its benefits. But is this practice backed by science?
