Re-4 Pact 2025, an exercise for the summer of 2025, bringing together 14 days,

Alaska, Hawaii, Guam, and the continental United States Air Force elements to prepare for a war with China.

Says so in Defense One, I'm not projecting.

And we're very pleased to be able to talk to an Air Force veteran.

because this announcement from Defense One is very official

and it has a word that I puzzle about.

We're integrating it, says the Air Air Force into the combatant commander's peace but we're doing it in a way that's more robust

This is from the Air Force chief of staff general David Alvinust, I stumble at that word.

What does that mean, Blaine, in terms of war with China?

Yeah, robust is an interesting way of saying we're going to, as Air Force start taking a bigger bite into the budgets of these exercises because for the Pacific we've got a major role to play as an Air Force and we've got to up our game and we've got to go learn the hard lessons that we have to learn to get our

blade resharpened and I say resharpened and that'll happen with exercises like this and the insights that we draw from them.

So robust means we're not going to sugarcoat this.

We're going to say we're at war and we just lost Guam and Manila and

Subic and maybe Tokyo. What are we going to do about it is there a plan blame it is

it is possible that that's how they're going to stress our force and cause us to move
