colleague and co-host.

We're very pleased to speak to David Dayoud of the Foundation for the Defense of Democracy.

Our man on the Hezbollah threat from the north of Israel. You will recall

that Hezbollah is an army, not a culture. Hezbollah, the army has been in motion since at least 1983, responsible for the bombing of the

marine barracks and the torturing to death of CIA Station Chief Buckley, that Hezbollah.

It is an army that overwhelms the Lebanese government,

the Lebanese army, and stands as a permanent threat to the people of Israel.

These last years, again and again,

the reports are that Hezbollah has been armed with not only missiles, ballistic missiles and anti-tank missiles, but also the

ability to target very specific sites throughout Israel from ranges as close from the border all the way to Beirut. We know all this because Hezbollah and

its master Tehran wants us to know it. In these last days, however, you no longer have to read carefully

about what Hezbollah can do because it's doing it. The barrage against Israel that has been in place since October 8th has now become clearly war fighting.

Israel has answered. However, David, a very good evening to you. Thank you for joining us. The headline in the Times of Israel.

Prime Minister Netanyahu says strikes on Hezbollah, quote, not end of story, end quote,

as allies warn against escalation.

That presumes we know how we got here.

What is in the last 48 72 hours?
