But it is how AEW started off. Now, this kind of made me laugh. MGF turns up and he found out that he's fighting Derby Allen because apparently he'd been off social media after beating Kenny Omega. So MGF doesn't have any friends. Nobody rings him. Nobody texts him. Nobody said, are you happy with this? And he freaked out. Don Callis walked in and he apologized. I'm so sorry that Andrade lost at the weekend. But MGF also didn't know because he's focused on his Kenny Omega match when Derby Allen's music hits. And I thought this was very, very good because maybe one thing that Dynamite doesn't do a lot, or in general, is the show-long storyline. So you get a, well, the seed of the narrative at the start of the night, and by the end of the night, you get the big payoff. I think this is something that not AW needs to do more, but as and when it makes sense, I'm not having this, some people are going, oh man, they just pulled it out their rectum because it's WrestleMania week. Quite clearly this has been planned for a while. I don't know when they booked in whether they in whatever, ever at Washington. It's where Derby Allen trained. Anyway, they go to the ring. It looks like we're going to have the match. And I'm just like, no, I'm not going to do it. When Derby Allen cut what I thought was a phenomenal promo, That Mother Hubbard was crying. And once again,

this is why, I watch this on a plane, by the way. So if I get anything wrong, one, I've been up for like 24 hours and two, I watched it on a plane. So I probably get it wrong, Miller watching Dynamo on a plane. But it's good to cry. We have tears for a reason. I saw some people go, are you such a wuss? He cried, are you mad? He cried because he was passionate and because he wanted to win. And he was so desperate to get this match, he was just

going to let it all out there. And then for some reason, it was Brian Danielson who became the conduit to Tony Khan and said, you know what, MGF is right, a little bit of a tease, but we are going to have the match in the main event so MGF you can go and get ready.

I loved all of it. I thought it was great. It set the scene. It told you where you were going to go. And if you wanted to see a world title change, which must be the first ever world title change in AEW on TV, I know that's true. Somehow AEW is seven years old now. It's absolutely terrifying. We're all going to be dead soon. I just loved it, man. And I will take more of this. And whether or not jumping ahead, Darby Allen is going to be a good world champion.

We do not know, but I don't think we need to jump on it right now. And I agree with you. It probably is too soon for MGF to lose it, but that just makes it more interesting. Not buying into this hold, MGF is buried. But again, we'll get there. I'm giving that an up for sure.

Omega versus Walt Osprey. Now, first, I'd raise an eyebrow about this because it cut to them in the trainers room. I think it was sort of straight after Denisee. And they were so damn sad. They were so damn upset. And Kenny Omega was going, oh my gosh, I'm never going to win the world title again. But You can, Will, you're younger than me.

And Will was going, no, you're Kenny Omega.

You're the guy that came back from losing to a car in 2027 to

to 20. I'm never going to win the world title again. But you can, Will, you're younger than me. And Will was going, no, you're Kenny Omega. You're the guy that came back from losing to a carder in 2017 to take over the world. You can win the world title. And it basically ended with the boat staring off at the distance going, man, maybe we can win the world title. Do you know why this was so good? It's a very, very simple premise. It is because losing at the pay-per-view in matches, a lot people thought they were going to win has made them suffer as performers. And if professional wrestling is meant to be a sport, I think we could do more of that. Not that I'm trying to drag him in for criticism, but it is something we used to talk about way back when on ups and downs, when John Cina would lose big matches, sometimes he'd come out and go, oh well, never mind, on we go. That wasn't his

fault. He was told to do that, but I much prefer it when we do something like this. Will Osprey's like, I'm devastated. How am I going to get back? Kenny Mayga, he was about to retire, and now you want to wait and see. So giving that up, I thought that's very good and something we can do more of and then we planted more seeds and kind of told the derby was going to win

because it was champa versus Desmond Xavier. Desmond Xavier looked to right for the very minimal offense he got in. But this was, it was to build up Champa, essentially.
