Triple H has done a new interview here with Variety and is pretty interesting.

Talking about how he approaches creative when it comes for different people, how heavily he writes for some people versus others. And this, honestly, is just kind of common sense, but I think it's an interesting interview, and it was worth coming on and talking to you about tonight. So here's what I believe you had to say, I'm just going to read you the whole thing. He said, the perspective that as you age, you have to acquiesce to them, as in the talent. Like, here are the points we want you to say, and here's the idea of your character, but you've got to put it in your own voice. So he's talking about the idea of giving people bullet points, rather than rigidly scripting everything that comes out of their freaking mouth. He said, I certainly can't write for Trick Williams. He literally said he can't write for Trick Williams. And he continued and said, to address it directly, I don't even know what the F. Lemon Pepper Steppers are. I mean, you need to listen to more Freddie Gibbs, Chief. Then you would understand the situation. But he continued as well, Triple H. It doesn't make any sense to me and it shouldn't. I can feel it when he says it,

the cool stuff. For the most part, I can feel the crowd react to it. I can feel the things that are clicking for him, but I can't tell him. So really, you know, we've been a bit cheeky with the titling and the framing of this one, but it's just common sense. It's just common sense. when you have somebody who's as natural and is good at talking and it really inhabits their character as well as Trick does,

why on earth would you, as a 55-year-old man or whatever Triple H is, give him an exact script to follow? It doesn't make any sense. That's how you end up with inorganic characters that sound like robots. And the whole point with Trick Williams is that he's the complete opposite of an inorganic character that sounds like a robot.

He's hugely over right now. He's probably going to win the freaking US title this weekend here in Las Vegas.

And yeah, like the story of his success has been him using his own voice.

He's an incredible TV character.

He's one of the best promos in the business.

He's somebody who as soon as he comes on at WW television every single week, it's absolutely electric. So why would you waste that by scripting every single thing that comes out of his mouth? It wouldn't make any sense whatsoever to do that. So it's actually a really sensible approach from Paul here, even if he admits he doesn't know what a lemon. There's shoes, man. He literally points to them on every, it's a pair of shoes. Come on. Everybody knows this. Let's change gears and talk about, someone I'd like to talk about less, quite frankly. But look, there's been a lot of talk. Stephanie McMahon's going into the Hall of Fame this year, right? We know that.

We know that.

According to our source with knowledge of the situation, those within WWE are not anticipating, nor have they heard anything to indicate the Vincent McMahon will make an appearance at the Hall of Fame ceremony, which is of course high headline by his daughter.

And look in normal circumstances, if your daughter was getting inducted into the Hall of Fame, yeah, you should probably be there.
