but hey, it's WrestleMania Week, meaning you've got a little bit more of Mr. Velocity here, the D-List player, while the rest of the crew are living it up in Las Vegas. Anyways, I hope you well, I hope you good. I hope your week is going as well as possible. And while it might be WrestleMania Week, It's AEW grabbing some headlines right now, as Darby Allen won the AEW World title on Last Night Dynamite, Spring Breakthrough. And I mean, sure, some of us may have called this title change as soon as the match was announced, but I'm not sure. I'm not sure anybody expected it to go down the way it did. By that, I mean that MJF's 109 day reign, his second reign as the AWO champion,

it came to an end in barely two minutes. I think it was two minutes and five seconds, to be

precise. We had an appearance from Sting, who gave Darby a pept up before the match. It's not

showtime, it's your time. And then the match, well, it started with MJF giving Aubrey Edwards

his dynamite diamond ring,

meaning that Aubrey had to go and get rid of that ring, allowing MJF to hit a low blow on Darby, and then trying to pin in with the classic headlock takeover. And after Darby kicked out of that, Aubrey had to move out of the way after an Irish whip center. I think it was MJF in her direction. but anyway that resulted in Darby then hitting his own low blow, the old Big Fister, which is quite the phrase, and he followed that up with a

scorpion death drop. Not one, not two, not three, but four coffin drops before pinning max

with, yeah, guessed it, the headlock takeover. And with that, Darby Allen is your new

AW world champion with the big celebration,

this family in the crowd, Dynamite, of course, taking place in Darby's hometown of Seattle,

Washington. Then a whole bunch of baby faces came out to celebrate. Brody King was first out.

There was Kevin Knight, there was the conglomeration. I saw Mr. Cole, the Youngblocks, the rascals,

I'm sure I'm missing some. And then finally we had Sting come out to celebrate, sharing a hug with Derby in the ring. A man, to say MJF is not happy about this, that is quite the understatement. Already Max has changed his ex-bio to Seattle's screw job. He's posted a couple of tweets or ex-posts, whatever you want to call them. And yeah, get ready with the B button editor Ryan.

It's just like an anti-cheating thing there. Now, in terms of an out for MGF, he supposedly didn't even know this match was happening on Dynamite, even though it was made official after Dynasty on Sunday. According to Max, though, AEW officials have been trying to get hold of him all week, and he also threatened to sue if the match happens, though Tony Gar and Seth, he be stripped off the title if Max did not take that Derby match. And now we have Darby Allen as your new AW world champion. Now, do I expect this to be a long reign? Not particularly. In fact, I mean, ahead of time, I mentioned I'd expect the Derby win, and then maybe he drops it back to MJF as soon as double or nothing in Queens, New York next month. But we will see either way that Derby win was certainly one way to grab headlines during the biggest week of the year for your competition. And speaking of that competition and somebody who knows AW very well, Cody Rhodes has continued to speak up on Pat McAfee's inclusion in his rivalry with Randy Orton. Now earlier this week, Cody said, though people people need to say no to Pat. You know that when an idea comes up. And now Cody has kind of made similar comments to Jimmy Treanor on the SI Media podcast, the Sports Illustrated podcast.
