Summary
What a week it's been! We unexpectedly ended up at Johns Hopkins this week to have surgery on the twins in utero. I didn't record a Saturday episode before we left and I didn't bring a microphone in our frantic rush to pack and get to Baltimore, but I jumped on my phone to give you an update. Back to our normal programming on Monday. Love you guys!

| 0:00.0 | Good morning everybody, welcome back to the Primal Potential Podcast. I am Elizabeth |
| 0:07.0 | Benton and if my audio sounds weird or crappy it is probably both. I am unexpectedly |
| 0:15.9 | not at home and don't have a mic with me. So I didn't want to skip the podcast |
| 0:21.5 | altogether but this isn't like a real podcast episode. I don't even think I'm |
| 0:26.5 | going to number this one. I just wanted to pop in otherwise I'm going to get a |
| 0:30.6 | slew of messages. I can't find the Saturday episode. So here it is. If you follow me |
| 0:38.3 | on social you might have seen that this week through us some curveballs. Some |
| 0:43.7 | pretty major curveballs that forced a impromptu road trip. So let me get you up |
| 0:53.5 | to speed, give you a little update and then the podcast will be back to normal on |
| 0:59.2 | Monday. And we'll just kind of skip over today for those of you who are interested |
| 1:04.7 | in an update. Here it is and if you are not interested in a personal update |
| 1:10.2 | you got a thousand other episodes you can listen to and we'll be back to |
| 1:13.9 | normal on Monday. So last Friday I had a routine doctor's appointment to check |
| 1:22.8 | on the twins currently pregnant with twin girls and before I got pregnant |
| 1:29.5 | with twins I always thought twins were either identical or fraternal but it's |
| 1:34.8 | actually a little bit more detailed than that. The majority of twins about 70% |
| 1:41.4 | are what's known as die, die twins, di slash di and that refers to a |
| 1:49.1 | diamnotic, dichoronic meaning meaning that each twin has their own placenta |
| 1:56.1 | and their own sack but the twins that we're carrying I'm carrying we're |
| 2:00.8 | pregnant with are mono die meaning that they do have their own sack there's two |
| 2:07.2 | sacks die but there's only one placenta. That type of twin is more high risk. The |
| 2:16.2 | reason being when they're sharing a placenta there are some challenges that |
