But do you want to begin with music?

And I use that term loosely, Jonathan?

Well, you know, normally this would be the little light opening, wouldn't it?

We'd just have light banter about Eurovision song contest, bit of escapism.

That would be before we plunge into all the heavy stuff of a national war. But of course,

Eurovision is not, you know, untouched by everything going on. I've always been quite into

Eurovision, partly because, you know, there's the songs and the kits, we all know about that.

But it is always just

fascinating seeing all these different countries reveal their likes and dislikes, their

alliances and preferences. That's all part of it. The voting has always been amazing. And it's always

been quite a good indicator of how Israel is seen in the world and the obvious example, and I was present in Jerusalem

when it happened, long story, but I was there even actually for the rehearsal of Eurovision

in 1979 when Galeiattari won with Hallelujah, et cetera, and Israel won two years running.

And that was the same week in 79 where the final, you know, signature had been

put on the Camp David Accords. Everyone couldn't get enough of Israel, right? Then two years win,

two year winners in successive contest. And then you fast forward to the late 90s. And it's true that

Netanyahu's prime minister, but Dana International won. And it was in that period, the 90s
