Welcome to the episode today. I'm really excited to share something with you. It's new to me

just this week. Came out of nowhere. Took me by storm. Some of my favorite things to share something with you. It's new to me just this week, came out of nowhere,

took me by storm, some of my favorite things to share because I'm real-time implementing application at the very same time as I'm sharing these things with you. So let me do a bit of setup on this. It won't take very long. I was on the phone earlier this week with a good friend of mine, Tyler Kane. He lives out in Tampa. He is the sponsor for the program, front-in and back-in right now. And we were talking about different things that we were studying and into these days, and he mentions

this book. He says, have you ever read this book called Unreasonable Hospitality? It's by a guy

named Will Gadara. I had not heard of it. It's a

secular book, which doesn't mean it's not awesome. It's just not one that I had heard of. And Tyler

talked a bit about how helpful it's been for him, really the application for business and

friendships and faith and all of that. So afterwards, I checked it out and I've really been

enjoying digging in on it. I think sometimes when we talk about hospitality, when we preach about hospitality, we're doing the right thing. The scripture talks about that quite a bit, actually, but we usually mean a couple of really base things. Like, if you want to be a more hospitable Christian, then go and greet someone at church that you do

not know, this love of strangers, which is a good definition for that word that's found in the New

Testament, or open up your home once a month and have some families over. And no doubt, those are acts

of hospitality, but I might call them reasonable hospitality.
