So some full disclosure here at the beginning.

About a week ago, I delivered a lesson at the Lindo

congregation a sermon titled what does God do today it was based on a study we'd done a

week earlier about how the peace that comes from God that surpasses understanding is

sourced in the present reality, intimate fellowship, and ongoing activity of God.

In other words, the Lord is near. When we recognize his nearness, and we dwell on his presence

and his power more than our problems, and we openly speak of his activity and involvement in our lives,

trusting that God is doing great things.

Those become the source of our peace.

We still very much need to do the big three activities that we talk about all the time.

Read the word, pray to God, and obey him.
