0:27.6	Most of us want to be able to control our outcomes.
0:35.0	We want to have some input in our outcomes.
0:39.0	We have to have the results that we want when we want them and this is a human impossibility. Now what
0:48.9	influence or influence do we have on outcomes?
0:54.0	Well, the outcomes that we get to experience in our lives
1:01.0	have to, in order for us to feel as if we have control of those outcomes.
1:10.2	We have to feel somehow that those outcomes are for our better life, our better purpose, to put us in a better place, a better position.
1:24.5	And in order to believe that,
1:28.3	you have to have faith.
1:31.3	And so the first thing about being a ferocious Buddha is you have to live in faith.
1:36.8	You have to have faith that you do not understand outcomes. You do not know what they mean. You cannot see how outcomes today are for your
1:50.1	better life and in order to be a ferocious Buddha,
1:55.4	you have to detach from your outcomes
1:59.8	in the sense of faith.
2:03.4	You can have goals and objectives
2:05.9	and all these other trajectories,
2:09.1	but you have to realize that regardless of the attention that you pay for what you want and
2:18.0	invention of what you do and say and feel and believe that the outcomes that occur today are for your betterment.
