podcast player or app. All right we are looking at first Peter chapter 3 and

Peter has been taking us through a very long conversation regarding the topic of

submission. He's talked about it generally, how we are to submit just like Jesus

did and how that might bring suffering into our lives at times.

He talked about what that looks like for a servant who is submitting to a master.

He's talked about what that looks like for a wife who submits to a husband. He's talked about that in terms of what

it looks like for a husband to submit in return toward his wife and what that actually looks like.

We just wrapped that up yesterday. Now today we're going to

move into 1st Peter chapter 3 verse number 8 where Peter kind of summarizes these

ideas of submission and he says finally all of you so now he's not talking about

specific roles he's giving some general overview of what this looks like for a

believer he's saying all of you, all of you believers together have

unity of mind, sympathy, brotherly love, a tender heart, and a humble mind.

Oh my goodness, there are one, two, three, four, five different characteristics there that I think will probably take a day a piece on

because each of these is so important.

So let's start with that first one.
