Good morning, good afternoon, good evening, whatever time you're listening, welcome to the morning mindset and if you are new to the morning mindset, I am so thankful that you're joining us.

I am thankful that as a brother and sister

in Christ you are doing your part to make the body of Christ stronger by

making yourself stronger in the Lord. You see we all affect one another and by being on track in your

relationship with Jesus Christ you are benefiting all of us. You are enabling

us all to have more harmony and unity and blessed love between each other

by having your mind right because then when you look at me and I look at you if our minds are aligned with the truth of God we're going to see each

other rightly and treat each other well and that really is what Peter has been

talking about here in 1st Peter chapter 3 as he is addressed what it looks like for a husband to be a

husband in a way that embodies the attitude of submission and when we submission, we don't mean slavish obedience.

Peter didn't mean that either.

Peter meant living in a way that submits your desires and well-being

to the good of others.

See, this is a willing submission.

This is something that is done for the benefit of others

just like our Savior Jesus Christ did

when he was on the planet.

And you see that is a tall order, isn't it?

But it is what the Christian calling really is all about.

That's why we remain on planet Earth.

And so Peter wraps up his instructions to husbands in 1st
