Hey, welcome back to the morning mindset. Are you ready? Are you ready this morning

for the day for what God has in store for you? And I realize you don't know what that is neither do I but we can

start the day and we should start the day with an attempt to get our minds aligned with the

truth of God so that when he brings his plan into fruition in our lives,

aligned with him and there's much less work to do to get into alignment with

him when those times come. We've been looking at the book of first Peter. We're in

chapter 3 verse number 8 and Peter has just unpacked. A list of things we are to do

as believers in Christ in order to live rightly in

relationship to each other. It really seems like he's carrying on his theme of

submission which he started back in chapter two and now he's applying it

to how do we submit to one another as believers in Jesus Christ? The first thing

we highlighted yesterday from verse number 8 of chapter 3 is that we are to have unity of mind

And I emphasize that we have to work hard at that

But look at this next characteristic that Peter says. He says finally all of you have

sympathy. Sympathy toward one another. You might use the word compassion.

Man, is this hard for you?

Now I know some people who just immediately feel compassion for others.

They hear the situation they're going through or

they see with their own eyes the circumstances that a person is having to

endure and their heart just goes out to them. I have to admit I'm not so readily that way. I tend to be a little less
