Haiti, suffering from a devastating economy was hit by an earthquake that made the already existing devastation even more miserable than it already was.

Haiti was already rocked by a political crisis as well as crises of safety and

security with few resources to address any of their daily challenges that made

life hard for Haitians. That earthquake was followed by a cholera epidemic that would kill

untold thousands as many were afflicted who lived far from the cities where better

records were being kept. It was finally determined that the cholera outbreak was,

spoiler alert, brought by members of the United Nations.

However, the UN, a presumably law-based humanitarian organization, that is staffed not with soldiers but so-called

peacekeepers refuses to take responsibility for the death they caused. In fact, they

point to their own laws that allow them to stay above the law, which on its surface contradicts their mission.

But this was a long time ago, so why be concerned now?

Well, that's because the cholera epidemic never really went away.

Haiti has experienced surge after surge of the horrible disease ever since, and still the UN does nothing to compensate those
