today and you may not like it. You don't have to listen to it and you don't have to go along

with it. But my suggestion is that you may be committed to I was going to say the whole

weekend without your phone but that's not going to happen. Maybe a day. If a day sounds

like too much, maybe half a day. If that still sounds like too much, maybe a couple of hours.

Over the last 10 years I think we have become almost start to our phones and whilst they

can deliver so many great things and they've changed things in a very positive way in some

aspects of our life. I think they've also caused a huge amount of stress and tension.

To the extent where not only are we addicted, maybe very addicted, some cases, to our phone

but we also look to it to influence our mood, our sense of self, even getting validation

for our sense of self from the various platforms on the phone.

And over time this has a compounding effect and unless we actually step away from the

phone, it's really difficult to see that because we're so caught up in it, it's a bit

like the wood for the trees. We're just too close to it to see it. It's only in stepping

away that we can start to see the sense, the drive to pick up the phone and check it

or to even go into particular platforms and look at likes or comments or whatever it might
