My husband and I have a horse rescue and children's therapy program.

We rescue the horses, we train them to work with kids.

They give the kids therapy and it's an amazing thing to

watch. My sister had a horse and I was never allowed on it because I was too little and that was

always disheartening to me because I loved the horses. They were just so majestic and so beautiful

and quite frankly, I probably needed equine therapy

came from a really difficult childhood my parents were extremely poor they had five children

I was the fourth of those five kids we lived in a cabin in the woods in Oregon. It was not nice.

We had no running water.

We had an outdoor toilet.

And my mother was very manic-depressive.

Would totally lose it on us kids quite often.

So that's why I say I probably needed equine therapy.

I loved my mother with all my heart.

And her and I worked through it when I became an adult.

So that's a good thing.

But as a child, you never knew when you were going to get beat

because her personality would change on a dime.

And so when opportunity presented itself to do something like this,
