We've been, we always have had prayer on Wednesday nights, and we still do.

And prayer's been going really good.

The Lord's been helping us here and in Sarasota, been helping Mr. Craig and helping me as we've prayed in the last several weeks.

And I believe he's going to continue to help us.

So if you want to come to prayer

on Wednesday night, you know, we have it every week. Six o'clock, it's good to pray. And when you know

the value of prayer, when you believe in the value of prayer, when you believe in the effectiveness of

prayer, then you pray. Amen? know prayer has been so many so much

of religious tradition has taken the teeth out of prayer because you know if you if you believe

god's in control of everything if he's running everything right then really your prayer is going to be pretty watered down because you're thinking,

well, I could pray, but whatever's going to happen is going to happen, so, you know,

or else you're trying to change God's mind, which you're trying to change the mind of a God that changes not.

So we're probably wasting our time at that point, right?

And so, you know, religious tradition has taken prayer and put it down to a place of almost begging.

God, please, if there's any way this could happen.

And we don't want to pray religiously, if you will.

We want to pray all the time and unceasingly,

but not as a religious tradition. We want to pray right. We want to pray led by the Spirit of God.

Amen? We want to pray prayers that are led by the Spirit of God. Not just prayers. You know, we talked about this Wednesday night.

So many time people come to us and they say, would you pray?

And you just automatically say yes.

And you pray before you ask God what to pray, how to pray.
