Would you look in the book of Proverbs and the 20th chapter?

Proverbs 20, we began a few weeks ago on a series we're calling the Spirit of Man.

The Spirit of Man.

The Lord reminded me that when we began the church in Branson,

which is now what, 18 years ago, it was in 2002.

Yeah, 18 years ago, the Lord gave me three primary directives for the church, and that has not changed.

And I felt I should bring it up again. I should remind myself and you.

One, that we were, as ministers, Phyllis and I were to teach and minister this and as a family

we were to emphasize this and get this and do this.

Number one, first principle, love each other.

We should not rush past that one.

Love each other. We need to teach about it. We need to think about it. We need to practice it. It is

the New Testament commandment. This is not about feelings. This is about choices.

And it's about being a giver. You know, you'll find people tend to fall into one of two

categories. Givers and takers. And if you're, if you don't have faith, you're a taker. Because you think if you

don't take it or make it happen it's not going to happen

it takes faith to quit pressuring people and quit trying to make things happen yourself or quit trying

to take what you want and trust God to make it happen said out out loud, I'm not a taker.

I'm a giver.

The greatest giver of all is God.

He so loved the world that he gave Jesus.

And I am a giver child of a giver God.
