for about five months and I did a lot of solo backpacking there. I think at that age,

those troubles were just some of the most formative times of my life, like having to

navigate a foreign country by myself for the first time and really big mountains.

It just taught me who I was on a level I'd never really gotten to before. Like the

crazy weather and the Chileans dropping all of their consonants in a language that I

really only have spoke at that time. And at one point my credit card stopped working

and I literally sang for food in El Chalten. There were just so many curveballs every day
