Last time, Underwood, the Hernandezes, Kci and David went to dinner in Ronda. Lydia was supposed

to be accompanying them of course, but following her failed attempt at getting

underwood to feed from her, she fled to a restaurant in Almacina, where she met with Miguel and Cynthia and Gerald Benson.

It was here that it came to like that Lydia no Sergei Alexandrov, the Russian gangster hunting

Keith Mullins and his friends from her days as a high-flying estate agent in Malaga.

Meanwhile, back in Ronda, following a very pleasant evening,

Underwood abruptly left David and Kontici saying he had some personal business to attend to.

David immediately understood that the only reason Underwood had come to Rhonda at all, was so he could ditch David and fly to

Michelle to turn her into his vampire mate. At the close of our last episode

David was driving hell for leather back to Almasina, and Underwood

was wiping his shoes on Keith's Dormat, and asking his profoundly spellbound host to lead the way to his wife's bed.

And it's here that we rejoin the story of Underwood and Flinch.

Underwood followed Keith up the stairs and into the apartment.

He was about to comment when, in a yapping frenzy, Perry, the tiny mongrel came skittering from the lounge, his eyes

bulging in their sockets like large black marbles, threatening to pop from his skull at any moment. Underwood looked down at the dog at his feet with a quizzical expression. Perry fell silent. Underwood waved him aside and Perry, cringing somewhat, obeyed.

Despite the rear window being open, the room smelled sour. Keith had B.O. and the room smelled mainly of him.
