Hello listeners and welcome back to Underwood and Flinch.

In our last episode, Lord Underwood attempted to have his way with Michelle, but due to an intervention

by David that set off the dog that woke up the daughter who then wouldn't settle down again,

Underwood had to content himself with only a taste of Michelle. However, the incident was sufficient to change

Underwood's mind about turning Michelle into the vampire. We left Underwood and Flinch last time as they resumed their journey home after David had managed to persuade Underwood that the time was right for him to tell his story.

And we enter this episode. him to tell his story.

And we enter this episode shortly after their arrival back at Casa Underwood.

John's marijuana

John's marijuana garden was situated on a patio roof on the eastern side of Casa Underwood.

Once Underwood had found himself a bottle of brandy and a large balloon glass, David led the way through the kitchen to a small pantry

room. He pulled aside a curtain and revealed a narrow flight of stairs. He flicked on a light switch. Underwood smiled.

Ah, I know where we're going. I was here with your father that first night we arrived at this

house. They went up the stairs and came out onto the patio roof.

The last time Underwood had seen it, it had simply been a flat cement roof with a water tank

and a creaky weather vein, Underwood raised his eyebrows. It had changed considerably.

I say, someone's been busy? They stood inside a white metal frame, a cube that was bolted to the floor and opened

to the night on all sides except the back which was flush with a wall. The top of the cube was slanted at the
