Hello listeners and welcome once again to Underwood and Flinch. The last time we met

David woke late and was suffering from a hangover. He remembered that he had to get

Lydia's prisoner, Gavin, out of the house before the sun went down, and so ran to rescue him, only to find he had already gone.

Freshly spilled blood on the floor led David to suspect that either Undewood had killed Gavin or Lydia had taken him.

When Lydia returned with Miguel, a barber to cut Underwood's hair and the Benson's as volunteer blood donors, David knew that Underwood

had to be responsible for Gavin's death.

David had already decided that he would serve Underwood only if the vampire were to stop his murderous lifestyle

otherwise he has vowed to destroy him. And so as we shimmer out of the heat haze into this week's episode,

it is to see David walking away from Lydia and her friends and heading to the garage workshop, wherein

lie hammers, stakes, the tools of the terrible fate of Underwood or Flinch.

The garage doors hung open, the padlock and chain still lay in the dust where he had flung them yesterday afternoon.

David went inside and moved quickly to the rear of the garage and the door that led to the workshop beyond.

The air and the workshop smelled like it hadn't been disturbed for a long time, a warm bouquet of

sore dust, creosote and engine oil. Dust motes rolled lazily in sunlight that seeped through windows

opaque with dust and cobwebs. He flicked on the light.

Against the back wall was a workbench and in the corner next to it was a box with numerous pieces of timber sprouting from it.

He went over and began to rummage through the contents. It consisted mostly of old planks and

offcuts. Was there another stash of wood somewhere? He looked around but couldn't see any

more.

Where were the fence posts kept?
