about indulgences, purgatory, the sacraments, the saints, the doctrines about

Mary. Today we're focused on accurately understanding and then biblically testing all of these

extra biblical traditions because it turns out these teachings aren't just missing from the Bible,

they actually contradict the scripture. This is the final part of the

four-part series refuting Catholicism. Let's get started.

We've already pretty much using history and scripture blasted away the single pillar of Catholicism, which is their claim to authority.

And once you realize that the claim to authority not biblical, the claim to authorities not historical,

you realize that all the other doctrines that then they build on that claim don't have any claim over you.

Many former Catholics found it extremely liberating to be able to just open the Bible and just believe it

and not add anything to it.

Well, tonight what we're going to do is deal with false teachings of the Roman Catholic Church.

Those things that came out of this belief, I think we have some feedback. You hear that low?

We've already explained how the gospel of Rome is a gospel of faith plus works.

Well once you add works to the gospel, it's natural to ask, which works.

I mean, if you're going to tell me I have to be saved by faith plus works,

then you're going to have to then tell me what works are going to save me.
