Ukraine conflict.

Now there are two salients.

There's a cursed salient to the east of Ukraine,

and there's the D'Annette Salient which is Novoricea.

The Russians are advancing in the Danescue region.

The Ukrainians have advanced in the Kirksk Oblast and Somi Oblast.

You don't need a map.

Just think of these as two offenses going opposite directions. Why? I welcome Gregory Coppley, editor and publisher of Defense

and Foreign Affairs. He is traveling. He's in his native Perth, Australia. He reports excellent weather and he's now

got the distance on Ukraine to help us understand Selensky, his ambitions. We understand Moscow's ambitions to subdue the Ukrainian forces and hold on to Nova Rasea, which is in Russia as regarded as Russian territory.

However, the Kursk Oblast.

Kursk is an historically significant city for Russia,

not the least because it was the scene of the largest tank battle at that time and the Soviet forces broke the

Vermach's Panzer forces and from there on to the end of the war the Soviets were always on the offensive.

Kursk, the statues are there, the memories are there.

However, right now we have headlines about Kursk citizens getting ready to evacuate or leaving already.

At the same time we have this headline from London within these last hours.

Ukrainians flee as Russia bears down on key eastern city.

So think of this as two offenses, one going east to Kursk, another going west towards the river, the Neneppa River.
