Jeff McCawson, the United States Army, retired. CBS News visiting Professor Dickinson

and College CEO of Diamond Six Leadership and Strategy to comment on the variety of information

fog of war that we're getting not only from the battlefront, but from the region, the

European frontier with the Russian Federation. I begin with a report that is odd in the

extreme. Poland will send 2,000 troops to its frontier with Belarus, according to the

Deputy Interior Minister. Twice the number requested by the Border Guard to stem legal crossings

and maintain stability. Poland is worried increasingly about the border area since hundreds

of Wagner mercenaries arrived in Belarus last month at the invitation of President

Lukashenko. Belarus started military exercises near the border this week, and Lukashenko

said several times that he is restraining Wagner fighters who want to attack Poland. I

emphasize this because Wagner fighters is an exaggeration and flattery. These are killers.

They're cutthroats. They're monsters. What they do in Africa is crime after crime. They're

not combatants as we understand them. They're dressed like it. But some of them are genuine

critical criminals out of the jail. The fact that they've been deployed to Belarus near

the border suggests anything is possible. There is no wall here. Poland and Belarus have

not built a wall. There's no checkpoint as we understand it. Jeff, a very good evening

to you. The migration story from Belarus to Poland has been standing for a couple of

years deliberately so. Belarus using migrants as a weapon, forcing people that are flown

in to Minsk from the Middle East, from Iraq, from Kurdistan, showing them the border and

pushing them into the EU, burdening the Latvians, the Lithuanians next door and worrying the

Poles. Now there are thousands. We're told 8,000. Who knows? You know, the deception is
