The London Papers announced an imminent Russian offensive,

if not already underway with preparatory bombardment, missiles, artillery.

Keefe. President Zelensky has been in London and in Paris and in Brussels,

saying he needs ammo, ammo, ammo. The major powers are talking about warplanes and tanks,

but that will take time. Zelensky wants ammo. Why? Because the same information we have from London,

probably originates in Keefe. The Russian offensive is imminent. Professor Keefe's point of view

at this point depends upon resupply, but from the Zelensky remarks, it's not fast enough.

Well, I think Zelensky is right. It's interesting to me that the position we take is that in some sense,

it doesn't go without saying that if we want the Ukrainians to defeat or at least to drive out

the Russians, we should give them everything you need to do that. There's an odd sense in which

we are constricting supplies in order to, I don't know, I guess we think that's the way of

restricting the spread of the war. Now, right now Ukraine, military, is in a strong position,

but she depends absolutely for supplies. She depends absolutely on her allies. If you look at

World War I, which as I said just now, what's coming up may resemble a World War I battle,

except they didn't move over, attempt to move over 500 miles of terrain. What was the great

thing that got Lloyd George in the bar was the so-called shortage of artillery shells, the crisis

that they didn't have enough artillery. Knowing it had any idea how much artillery was going to be

eaten up. We know that now in America, we don't seem to have much military industry and we're not

able to restore the necessary inventories of what it takes to fight a war successfully.

Ukraine is in a, they are dependent on a kind of motley crew of allies with us being the most

important to keep them supplied. They have some domestic problems. There is a question about who's
