Welcome to Unfuck Your Brain. The only podcast that teaches you how to use psychology, feminism

0:13.8

and coaching to rewire your brain and get what you want in life. And now here's your

0:19.3

host, Harvard Law School grad, feminist rock star, and master coach, Carla Lohanthile.

Today we are going to talk about one of a human brain's least favorite things in the world,

0:34.3

and that is uncertainty, which is also the nature of life.

0:40.7

Right, literally everything in life outside of us is uncertain and not subject to our control,

0:48.0

1:29.0

time with myself, which was amazing. I highly recommend doing that if you have a history

1:34.2

of always being in relationships, or just always dating and trying to be in relationships.

1:40.0

And so now it's been a while, I'm starting to date again, and I'm some learning how

1:44.4

to handle uncertainty at a whole new level. I often compare dating and building a coaching

1:50.0

business because they have some similarities in the way in which you have to be absolutely

1:56.2

committed to believing in the possibility of your goal, even though it requires the participation

2:02.6

of other people, and you can't even predict exactly who those people are going to be,

2:08.8

and what they're going to do.
